Motivation

           The most things all employees in JYP entertainment wanted are being famous. They wanted to become the most famous artist in Asia stage. The main thing that a company does is promoting them in various countries. Produce an attractive song with nice choreography. The more a company pays attention to artists the harder they will work for JYP.

What JYP gets from the employees?
  • ·  High quality performances
  • ·  More profit share from artist
  • ·  Artists have motivation to continue the work
Why does JYP get even more compare with other entertainment company?


·                    Nice location of a company, they provide a nice work place for all employees. Such as they have private GYM in a company. In Korea GYM fees are very expensive, instead the artists should pay and go for it; they can just use their company’s gym.







·                    High salary and bonus. Most of the artist in this company gets the highest salary in among of Korean artists. It seems some other artist works more than JYP’s artist but they get lower salary. That’s mean JYP gives more profit shares to artists. Although the salary rates are covered secretly, we can see JYP’s artists rank the high salary billboard.



·                    Fringe benefit: all the artists in a company have their own dorm; they didn’t need to pay for an accommodation. Hence, they have high quality security, no need to work out with all fan clubs.

What they can do more?
  • ·        Provide more holiday for artists, seem like they always work most of the time around the world.
  • ·        Given opportunity for artists to choose their schedule
My opinion on motivation in the JYP workplace
               I think JYP did the best for all employees compared to other company’s employees. Although they need to work for everyday but this makes them being more famous at the same time. All facilities that provide to employees could motivate them to work harder as well as having fun with their job. Salary is one of the most factors that motivate employees, JYP could offer its employees well.

Training

  Many famous artists working in JYP Entertainment, it shows the powerful ability of Park Jin Young who could train people to be perfect. Training system is necessary to every trainee who could pass the audition process. Typically, the trainees in JYP are off the job training courses. Everyday all young trainees would learn new skills from various professional coaches in many fields such as singing, dancing, acting, modeling, and MC/VJ etc. They should learn all skills, be prepared to be artists with fully capable



                In honor to be artists, semblance is very important therefore a company offer extra service in the training system, basically they will take care and develop the trainees semblances. Overall of training processes, a company needed to pay many extra costs for trainees. Which are included the accommodation, coach fees, extra treatments etc. To debut one artist, a company spent lots of money for one artist. Although a company invest high cost for the artists but they could get a high quality artist to role a business. The more famous the artists the more profit a company will get. 
           
                A duration of a training is approximately three to seven years. It depends on an artist's development also, in honor to finish the training process fast or slow. After the training process, a company will group all best trainees to be together and debut them as a fully artist.

Recruitment

 Without right employees, a business will not achieve its aims effectively. JYP entertainment as the leader in Entertainment business aims to recruit talent people who have aspiration of becoming global entertainers beyond the Asia stage. JYP is looking for new talents in the field of singing, acting, modeling, dancing and MC/VJ. 



           
How Park Jin Young recruits people? 
               In the recruitment process, Park Jin Young and his crews will be the judges during the audition. Most of the time Park Jin Young will selects the candidates in the latest stage. Audition can run more than one time. The more talents they have, they need to audition again with different judges.

     To get recruited by JYP entertainment we should go for an audition. There are three ways to go for the audition as stated above.

The candidates will need to choose what job they want to apply. There are mainly 5 categories of job available, which are Vocal, Dance, Acting, Model and MC/VJ. The qualification and process are stated as above on the table.

The skills that the candidates need to prepare are depends on what job they choose. Each job has different requirement for the audition recruitment stage.

               These are the criteria for each job that they will look for during the audition stage. After that the chosen people will need to sign a contract know as Trainees. They need to train on their respective criteria based on their chosen from the audition stage. A company will divide the trainees and form a group based on their talents. After the training process, all trainees will debut to the public. 
  
 My Opinion
                In my opinion this recruitment is fair and open to everyone. It is easy to contribute, they aren't limit the nationality and opportunity. For example, they offer the online audition for people who can't come in person. The audition also available often time, every first and third Sunday of every month.   
                I also want to work with JYP entertainment as an artist manager because JYP company is a very firm company, they're really focusing work in an entertainment field. Therefore it's will be a good opportunity if I can work in a replete company.

Organization

 JYP Entertainment aims to get new artist stars who have full of passion and skills. As a leader, Park Jin Young must get the right people with the right skill to make them become perfect superstars. He needed to ensure that those people have the opportunities to develop decision making skill. He also needs strong control and flexibility to manage the entertainment business due to the variations in customers' needs.














Park Jin Young will responds all business and organization in JYP entertainment. He is the one who makes the decision and direction right on every artist in a company.

The management style

The management style that Park Jin Young uses to manage is an autocratic style. Autocratic style is a more efficient method of catering to the customer base and controls the employees. JYP created official social network for each of an artist to communicate and inform news to their fans (customers) frequently. Any artists in this company are bound to long term contract for the benefits of the company. 

             To keep up with various competitors in the industry, autocratic style could offer more a strong corporate image. In JYP there are many rules for the employees mainly artists, they should obey on it. For example, artists are not allowed to have any relationship during their company contract in order to maintain their image. They must live together in a same dome which will easy for a company to gather them in training time or working time.

Park Jin Young uses a flat organizational structure which helps the [1] business to offer a broad span of control, lower costs, and swift decision making that is crucial for the business (studymode.com). A flat organizational structure could complement the autocratic style well, as well as offer further empowerment to the employees.



This allows a company to meet with customer's demands and admit their needs well.

           




         
 
                From this flat organization structure Choreographers, Song Producers, Production Coordinators etc. Helps Park Jin Young to produce the products which are the song, music video and choreography. Park Jin Young will be the one who appoints about what the theme is the song and when should the artists release new albums. Those appointments will consign to people in the second levels of the chart which they will start to compose the song, create the choreography, manage the scene etc. Thirdly artists will learn all choreographies and film the music video. Then the customers can buy those products from a company to entertain themselves. 

               In my opinion this organizational structure is very good and fair because everyone has their own responsibilities, everyone concentrates on their own job which produce a high quality performance to a company.

Leadership




One of the three biggest entertainment companies in South Korea "JYP entertainment" has been established Korean entertainment industry famed internationally.

Park Jin Young the founder and owner of JYP entertainment has been an important person behind a K-Pop industry successful. He is the first Entertainment's leaders who introduced Korean songs thought out international level. 

Rain: the result of being a famous star in Asia continent shows that Park Jin Young had produced a high quality star ornament in the entertainment industry.

Wonder Girls: The first Korean girl group that puts on the market in international level shows the perfect stability of  Park Jin Young's leadership
         
          Park Jin Young uses an autocratic style to lead people. It is common to every entertainment company where leader would be the one who organizes everything for artists. Most probably leaders in the entertainment industry will respond to the marketing and promoting sections as well as contributed in the production part.

         He leads people by examples as he is also a singer and songwriter. Everyone appreciated in his talents as well as admiration for his leadership qualityHe motivates people to follow on their dreams and do everything for the best. He looks on the people passions and talents, motivates and train people to be perfect. Never ever seen any stars complain about their job, they are happy to work there with a caring leader. 

Opinion

         I think Park Jin Young is a made leader because he had been an artist before. He hires and develops people as their talents. He never overlooks the importance of his crews in a company. He treats people equally therefore everyone familiarly to each other.
